Emacs Let's Play

Introduction

I think it is important that new users learn vanilla emacs before venturing into the wilds of melpa or testing the waters with a emacs starter kit.

So, I decided I would create a kind of walk through that gives new users a road map to getting the most out of plain old emacs. To that end, I won't be installing any packages, or running any elisp from any of the various sources available. Nope. What we are gonna do is just start using emacs as is.

I hope you will follow along as we learn the basics, and try out a few changes, then learn to make those changes permanent.
